Forex: EUR/USD trades above 1.3100

FXstreet.com (San Francisco) - The EUR/USD made a last jump before the Wall Street closing bell and advanced around 35 pips in the latest few minutes from 1.3075 to break above 1.3100 and trade at 1.3110. Pair is currently at 1.3100.

Almost flat on the day, the EUR/USD is trading slightly bullish according to the FXstreet.com trend index. Indicators such as CCI and Momentum are bullish while the MACD and the Stochastic are neutrals in the 1-hour chart.

above 1.3100, a surpass of 1.3138 (high Apr.11) would open the door to 1.3140 (MA55d) and then 1.3150 (MA100d). On the downside, immediate support at 1.3044 (low Apr.11) followed by 1.3006 (low Apr.9) and finally 1.2980 (MA10d).

Wall Street closes lower on Friday but rallies on the week

The US stocks market has closed slightly lower on Friday after recovering ground from strong early losses as investors was disappointed by bad economic data released on the day. Stocks stop 4-day winning streak.
