AUD/USD surrenders to bears; prints 0.9304 session lows

FXstreet.com (Chicago) - AUD/USD was unable to resist bearish pressure after being capped by 0.9394 zone earlier today. The pair continues erasing gains to now register 0.76% wins against the greenback.

In the afternoon of the American trading session, the dollar trades stronger but still below the Aussie’s performance, the pair accumulates 0.76% wins so far. Summers’s withdrawal along the Fed’s potential tapering dominates the headline ahead of the RBA meeting’s minutes in Australia.

AUD/USD Technical Levels

Price action reveals a weaker Aussie slowly succumbing to the dollar’s pressure. The pair hangs on to 0.93 zone and trades at the void of the zone printing 0.9304 session lows. Offered at 0.93110, the pair oscillates between supports at 0.9286 (July 28th highs), 0.9260 (July 16th highs) ahead of 0.9233 (August 18th highs) and resistances at 0.9321 (September 10th highs), 0.9355 (September 11th highs) followed by 0.9393 (June 3rd lows). According to the FXstreet.com trend index, the pair is slightly bearish on one-hour timeframe analysis and is offered below the EMA20.
