No response from Greece – EU commission

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The European Union (EU) commission confirmed that no response has been received from Greece, although doors remain open but the time is running out.

The aid program is set to expire midnight tonight and the last minute contacts are going on between Greece and Brussels.

The EU commission added that any margin for further negotiations with Greece would be for the Eurogroup to decide.

The European Central Bank (ECB) executive board member Benoit Coeure said on Tuesday that Greece could leave the single currency bloc, although the central bank or other EU institutions did not want such an outcome.
